Join Arts & Humanities | Trapper Creek's next artist, Carol Ziogas, for a meet 'n greet at Shell Bar on Friday May 15 from 5 - 6 pm.
Carol has been sewing most of her life and became a self-employed artist at 17.
She has been interested in Japanese textiles and Sashiko since she was eight years old.
Carol's workshop will take place at Shell Community Hall Saturday and Sunday May 16-17 from 10-4 daily. Students will choose from an assortment of new fabric scraps that we will piece and layer together using Sashiko thread to make a placemat-sized project.
