The Buffalo Jump

Also known as Devil's Leap, the Buffalo Jump is a huge cliff out in the badlands. This is a great area to take your four wheeler or side by side. This historical landmark got its name from the Indians back when they would push herds of buffalo off the cliff. Some would be waiting at the bottom to harvest the meat and this would feed the tribe all winter. You can get to the top of the Buffalo Jump out through the hills but the only way to get there is to hike or ride a horse. The bottom, as pictured here, is accessible by two-track dirt road.
